An Adrenalized Adventure: From Motorcycles to Jet Skis to Starting His Own Business

By Gaby Keiderling

Aleix Tejedor might only be 21 years old, but he already has a lifetime of accomplishments. At the age of 18, Tejedor entered the motorsports world—a world that gave him a crash course in the value of discipline, effort, and sacrifice. He moved from the racetrack to the sea, where he became a jet ski instructor on the Costa Brava. When Tejedor wasn’t teaching others, he was capturing content on the water, and by 2024, his TikTok was getting over 60 million monthly views.

Tejedor’s growth on social media parallels his career growth. He took the leap into the business world, founding DEVENUM—a ticket management company created with the mission of offering professional, clear, and reliable solutions for event organizers. We spoke to the entrepreneur to learn about how he has gotten to where he is today, and what’s next.

The Wake Edit: When did you start jet skiing and how did you get into it?

Aleix Tejedor: I actually started riding motorcycles when I was only four years old, competing in trials. Motorsports have always been part of my life. At 18, I decided to take a course to become a jet ski instructor, mainly to pay for my racing mechanics studies. That first summer on the water was unforgettable—the atmosphere, the energy, and the freedom I felt inspired me to start filming and creating content. That’s where everything began, and over time it grew into both my passion and my career.

TWE: Where is your favorite place to jet ski?

AT: The Costa Brava, especially l’Estartit. There’s something unique about the mix of cliffs, islands, and crystal-clear waters that makes every session feel special.

TWE: What do you do when you’re not on the water?

AT: When I’m not on the water, I’m still chasing challenges and learning. My life has always been about movement, growth, and creating. I started very young in trial motorbike competitions, which gave me discipline and a competitive mindset. At 18, I became a jet ski instructor to fund my racing mechanics studies, and from that moment on I knew I wanted to turn my passion into a lifestyle.

Outside the water, I’ve worked in different fields that shaped me: from welding, to filming vehicles for Yamaha dealerships, to learning the craft of mechanics while being paid only €50 a week. Each step taught me the value of persistence and patience. I later joined racing teams, got into Porsche restoration, and began to understand motorsport from the inside. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for excellence and precision.

“This picture is very special to me. It’s my first salary, I would like to share it like the beginning of my professional life”

At the same time, I started creating content. What began as a way to capture the emotions I felt on the water turned into a real path. By 2024, my videos had reached over 60 million monthly views on TikTok and brought me a large community on Instagram. Creating content became my way of expressing what drives me: passion, energy, and discipline.

Today, I channel all of this into my company, DEVENUM, a ticketing business I co-founded to bring the same standards of professionalism and quality I learned in motorsports into the events world. We’ve been growing non-stop since day one, and that’s something I’m proud of.

So, when I’m not riding a jet ski, I’m building, creating, and constantly learning—whether it’s through business, content, or exploring new challenges. For me, it’s all connected: the drive I have on the water is the same drive I apply in every other area of my life.

TWE: Do you have any tricks you are perfecting?

AT: Yes — right now I’m focused on the 180° aerial and the slide. For me, tricks are not just about style but also about control, flow, and pushing personal limits.

TWE: What type of jet ski do you drive?

AT: At this point, I ride a bit of everything, but the one I use the most is the Sea-Doo RXP-X 325 RS, which I have on hand thanks to my business partner.
