On Board with DC Family Crew’s Leading Man Danny Cosme
Our Man on a Ski Finds Out What the Sea-Doo Specialist Really Thinks of His RXT-X
We know that we can’t be everywhere at once, but our Man on the Ski can be. Our new series with Nick Roldan takes you behind the scenes with some of the most influential people in the jet ski world. Next up? Danny Cosme.

To Danny Cosme, being out on the water is more than just about having fun. It’s about bringing your family together, and that’s what he does with his brand DC Family Crew. The social media platform is centered around faith, family, and outdoor adventure. With DC Family Crew, Cosme shares on-the-water lifestyle experiences that inspire families, especially dads, to be more intentional with their time.
Roldan caught up with Cosme in a rare moment of non-family time, when they were out on the latest Sandshark ride in St Augustine, Florida. On the back of his Sea-Doo, Cosme told Roldan what it was that made him buy his brand new 2026 RXT-X 325.

“Power. It’s got 325 horsepower,” Cosme said, as his first reason. “You’re able to go from 0 to 60mph in three-point-whatever seconds. That’s a no brainer right there.” As to the other reasons? “The 10.25 inch touchscreen where you have your gauges, you have your maps. That’s totally awesome. And the other good thing about this [PWC] is that it’s so stable offshore. Just like riding a sedan on the water.”
That’s at the core of the RXT-X—speed and stability. It’s the ideal model for casual touring, while also still delivering a punch of adrenaline. With a similar racing seat to the RXP-X, you stay locked in, but it also has a removable rear seat for versatility.
But what doesn’t Cosme like about it? Roldan got to the bottom of it. “Just the color,” Cosme asked in response to what he would change about the model. “It’s still a really nice color—that neon green popping out, you’ve got that black and grey. Don’t tell anybody but that Gulfstream Blue is just on another level.”

But color is only semantics, and at the end of the day, it doesn’t take away from Cosme’s joy of his PWC. “I choose to ride because to me, it’s just the easiest way to get out of all the noise. We work so hard, all day, every week, and getting on the ski or my Sea-Doo switch with my family makes us so happy,” Cosme told Roldan. “We disconnect from everything, and we just enjoy the beautiful weather that Florida has to offer. Florida has so many beautiful destinations, and we just have to take advantage of that.”
It is a much needed escape from his daily work, where Cosme works in law enforcement and is a training instructor as well. DC Family Crew is his way to get out on the water and spend quality time with his family. Hopefully, one day, the brand will grow into organized meet-ups, group rides, and family-based events.
But lastly, about his Sea-Doo, we had to ask—does it have a name? “Let’s just call it Seminole,” Cosme laughed, a nod to being a Seminole PowerSports Dealer Ambassador.
