It was only a matter of time before F1 influencers made their way into PWC culture. After all, both sports deliver peak adrenaline through racing the fastest machines across terrain (water versus land being the key difference). Sea-Doo capitalized on it, creating a category-revolutionizing innovation for 2027: The RXP-X Senna 350.The 2027 Sea-Doo lineup marks the brand’s boldest update in years.
Along with its collaboration with Ayrton Senna—the legendary Brazilian racing driver and three-time Formula One World Champion—Sea-Doo unveiled a 2027 lineup consisting of more horsepower, new technology and rider-focused updates across its personal watercraft and Switch pontoon ranges. At the top of the pile is a new 350-hp engine, while the Spark family gets a significant power boost of its own.
2027 Sea-Doo Lineup:The RXP-X Senna 350
First up, the headline act: The RXP-X Senna 350, a flagship PWC with racing DNA. It features the Rotax 1630 ACE 350, which Sea-Doo calls its most powerful factory-installed personal watercraft engine to date. The engine will also be available on the GTX Limited, RXT-X and RXP-X platforms, giving Sea-Doo’s performance-focused models another serious shot of acceleration.
The limited-edition RXP-X Senna 350—and we mean limited, as only 1,991 were produced—was created through a one-year partnership between Sea-Doo and Senna Brand, the company established by the family of three-time Formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna. The RXP-X was a natural choice for the collaboration, given its position at the sharp end of Sea-Doo’s performance lineup. The 350-hp Rotax delivers a claimed 15 percent quicker 0-60 mph acceleration than previous models, while the craft gets a visual treatment inspired by Senna’s legendary racing helmet.
But it’s not just a paint job. Each of the RXP-X Senna 350s produced worldwide carries Senna-inspired details including a laser-integrated signature, references to his three world championships, and the phrases “Seek your truth” and “Born to win.” A numbered tribute plate marked 1991 nods to Senna’s final F1 championship.
The package also includes a matching passenger seat and a custom Senna-branded cover. With production limited to 1,991 units, the Senna 350 is just as much a collector piece as it is a high-performance PWC.
Spark’s Big Boost
At the other end of the Sea-Doo range, the Spark gets a major update aimed at keeping its lightweight, accessible character intact while giving riders more performance to play with.
The new Rotax 1000 ACE replaces the existing 900 ACE platform and is offered in 60-, 90- and 110-hp configurations. The big news is the 110-hp version, which increases the Spark’s claimed top speed by 15 percent while improving its power-to-weight ratio. Sea-Doo says the result is stronger acceleration, sharper handling and a more responsive ride, without losing the lightweight agility that has helped make the Spark an entry point into PWC ownership.
There’s also a new Spark X, available with the Trixx package. Both versions use the 110-hp engine and gain Sea-Doo’s Intelligent Debris Free, or iDF, system, allowing riders to clear debris from the pump using handlebar-mounted controls. The Spark X adds several premium touches, including a standard speed regulator and boarding step, an exclusive color-matched deck and BRP Audio-portable System. The audio system and matching deck are also available as options on the Spark X Trixx.
The Tec2027 Sea-Doo Lineup:h Specs
Sea-Doo is also spreading its 10.25-inch touchscreen technology further through the lineup. After debuting on select models last year, the display is now available on the GTX and GTR-X, bringing expanded connectivity and navigation capabilities to more riders.
For Sea-Doo’s performance models, the increased horsepower is the big story, but the broader technology rollout shows the company continuing to put more emphasis on connectivity and onboard information alongside raw performance.
The combination of the new 350-hp Rotax 1630 ACE and expanded touchscreen availability makes the 2027 performance range notably more capable at both ends of the spectrum—from high-speed riding to longer days exploring the water.
Sea-Doo Switch Turns 5
For Switch owners, 2027 marks the fifth anniversary of Sea-Doo’s modular pontoon. The latest models receive a series of practical updates rather than a wholesale redesign.
The 10.25-inch display is now available across Switch models powered by the 230- and 300-hp engines, putting ride information and navigation within easier reach. Switch Sport models gain rear corner doors, while the Switch Cruise with Tech Package and Switch Cruise Limited 18-foot model can now be ordered with a factory-installed double bimini. All 230-hp Switch models also get a larger 176-liter fuel tank, intended to extend time between fuel stops. Across the entire Switch range, an updated automatic bilge pump is designed to detect and remove excess water from the engine bay.
